CS57 – Best Witches

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Designer Paper”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday in October using that theme!

BEST WITCHES

I think this set’s style of stamp images is just darling…and we’ve had several stamp sets done by this artist! This is one of my favorites, though! I created a super simple card using one of the “minor” images from Best Witches!

Stampin’ Details:

Base is 4-1/4 x 11 Parakeet Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was adhered on top.
A 1 x 4 piece of striped pattern Black & White Designs DSP was colored with the Dark Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends and adhered to the bottom.
A 1/4 x 4 strip of Basic Black cardstock was added along the top.
The little frog from Best Witches stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with the Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Combo. It was hand-cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Best Witches was stamped with Memento Black Ink above the frog.
A trio of Classic Matte Dots in Black were randomly added to the background.

Creatively Simple 22 – Hello Ladybug

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Birthday”, and we each create a simple card every week using that theme!

I’ve used Stampin’ Up!’s new Hello Ladybug for today’s card! One of my stamping groups made this card a couple weeks ago and loved it! It really is too cute!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Real Red cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded with the fold on the left.
A 1-3/4 x 4 piece of Sweet Talk Designer Paper was added to the left side. I love that these patterns aren’t just for Valentine’s Day!
The largest Simply Stitched rectangle was cut from Basic White cardstock. The leaf from Hello Ladybug was stamped with Granny Apple Green Ink towards the right side.
The body of the ladybug was punched from Basic Black cardstock and the wings were stamped with Real Red Ink on Basic White cardstock, then punched. They were added to the leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Hello Ladybug was stamped with Memento Black Ink.
A trio of Red Rhinestones were added to the background.

Creatively Simple 15 – Christmas

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Christmas” and we each create a simple card every week using that theme! We are definitely on the countdown to Christmas now!

The Classic Cloche Bundle was added late to my stash, but I really LOVE it! The two (three) step stamping make it EASY to create detailed looking images like this one!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Real Red cardstock is added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White was stamped with the houses from Classic Cloche Stamp Set outline image in Memento Black Ink, then the tree background in Soft Sea Foam Ink, then the houses in Real Red Ink. They are SO easy to line up!
Some Wink of Stella was added to the roofs and ground for a little sparkle.
The greeting from Classic Cloche stamp set was also stamped in Memento Black.
Some Wonderful Gems were added to the background for a little bling!

I really don’t have ANY suggestions on how to make this even simpler! This would make an EXCELENT last minute card making option!
