Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “THINGS THAT FLY”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday using that theme!
Again this week just a little bit of stamping…the dies mainly do the heavy work! AND, I already had the heron all stamped, colored and cut, so just had to add him at the last minute! lol!
HERON HABITAT
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White is added on top.
- The sun was cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock with the Stylish Shapes circle die and adhered to the front.
- The water was cut with the Heron Die from Balmy Blue cardstock and added over the bottom of the sun.
- The grasses were cut with the Heron Die from Gray Granite cardstock and added to the front.
- The heron was stamped with Basic Gray Ink and colored with the Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Heron Die and added to the sun with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Heron Habitat was stamped with Basic Gray Ink in the background.
- Three Fine Sparkle Gems were added to the background.
