It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  This color challenge will run for TWO WEEKS while we celebrate the holidays!  Merry Christmas to everyone!

 

CELEBRATE WITH TAGS

This card only has the greeting from Celebrate with Tags stamped, but I love all the other details on here!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 3 x 5-1/4 layer of Boughs of Holly Designer Paper was added to the left side.
  • Half of the ag was cut from Gold Glimmer Paper with the Celebration Tags Dies and the bottom scallop portion cut from Real Red cardstock.  They were adhered together.
  • Some Real Red Ribbon was tied at the top of the tag and added to the front on an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Merry Christmas from Celebrate with Tags was stamped with Real Red Ink on 1 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock and cut with flag ends.
  • Two snowflakes were cut from Basic White cardstock with the Celebration Tags Dies and added to the front with Mini Glue Dots.
  • Some white Seasonal Sequins were added to the center of the snowflakes and next to the greeting.

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Celebrate Holidays”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday in November using that theme!

CELEBRATE WITH TAGS

I really purchased this bundle mostly for the tag dies.  I enjoy making personalized tags for my gifts, especially at Christmas!  But…I thought this mitten stamp was darling, so built my card around the mitten image, with my favorite snowflake embossing folder, too!

Stampin’ Details:

  • Base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Wintry Snowflake Embossing Folder across the top.
  • A 1-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper was added on a diagonal across the bottom and trimmed off the side of the Basic White.  The layer was added to the front of the base card.
  • Two mittens were stamped with Pool Party Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Celebrations Tag Die.  They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two snowflakes were cut from Basic White cardstock with the Celebrations Tag Die and added next to the mittens.
  • Be Jolly from Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set was stamped with Real Red Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the banner Celebrations Tag Die.
  • A trio of Pool Party Solid Faceted Gems were added to the snowflakes and background.
