Yesterday was my grand-daughter’s, Quinn’s, FIRST birthday party (her actual birthday was Friday!). We had a beautiful sunny day and lots of fun! Here’s a few photos of the day. My husband and I got her the wagon and she loved it! She wouldn’t eat the cake for photos until her daddy put some raspberries and fruit inside it…too funny! Her mommy did a great job decorating for the day, too!

I’m sure I’m biased…but she is a beautiful little girl with a sunny disposition! Love her!

OK…now on to the card for today! I love the poinsettia images in the Reason for a Season stamp set! Here’s one of the cards I made using it.
The details to recreate this card:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cherry Cobbler folded in half.
- On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake, a 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Winter Wonderland Designer Paper was placed across the left side.
- A 2 x 4 piece of Metallic Gold cardstock was placed across the front with a 3/4 x 4 strip of Cherry Cobbler across the center of it.
- The two poinsettia outlines from Reason for the Season were stamped with Archival Black Ink, then stamped the inside with Cherry Cobbler Ink and the leaves with Old Olive. A Blender Pen was used to move the color to the other areas inside the outline, giving it a two-tone look. They were cut out and placed on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A Very Merry Christmas was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink on the Crumb Cake layer.
- A few Gold Sequins add a little bling!
