It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a fun sketch for you this week!

FRAGRANT FLOWERS

I think this DSP is so pretty and I really haven’t used it much!  So, that is how I started my card.  I pulled the rest of the design from these colors and prints!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• A 1-1/4 x 5-1/2 strip of the floral Delicate Dreams DSP was added on the left side.
• A 3 x 5-1/2 piece of checked Delicate Dreams DSP was added on the right side.
• A 1/4 x 5-1/2 strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock hides the seam.
• The 3 x 3 square of Misty Moonlight cardstock was adhere at an angle on the front.
• The Fragrant Flowers greeting was stamped at the bottom of a 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 square of Basic White cardstock with Misty Moonlight Ink.
• Three flowers were cut with the Fragrant Flowers Die from Misty Moonlight cardstock, the cluster of flowers from Crumb Cake cardstock and the leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock and assembled on the front.  They were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and tucked along one of the flowers.
• Three white Pearls of Beauty were added to the center of the flowers.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a pretty color combination today!

FRAGRANT FLOWERS

I was happy with how the light and dark colors played out on today’s card using Fragrant Flowers!  The two-step stamping made it SO easy!  The Blackberry Bliss really pulls out the purple undertones in the Cloud Cover color!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the lower right corner and a portion in the upper right corner.
• The flower petals were stamped with Cloud Cover Ink, the centers with Blackberry Bliss Ink and the leaves with Old Olive Ink.
• The greeting was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink on Cloud Cover cardstock and cut with the label Die.  Another label die was cut from Blackberry Bliss.  They were placed together and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the front.
• The Old Olive Rick Rack Ribbon naturally curls, so I cut about 8″ and tied a knot, then let it curl and added it with a couple Mini Glue Dots on the side of the label.
• A trio of Moody Palette Dots were added to the background.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a pretty color challenge for you!

FRAGRANT FLOWERS

You know I love my flowers.  Here’s another card using the dies in the Fragrant Flowers bundle that came together quickly!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Berry Bliss cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White is embossed with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder and added to the front.
• The Simply Said greeting was stamped with Lost Lagoon Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock and cut with the Fragrant Flowers label Die.
• Another label was cut with the Die from Last Lagoon cardstock.  Only the outside frame was added to the base card and the greeting added inside it.
• The larger flowers were cut from Fresh Freesia, the smaller cluster flowers from Berry Bliss cardstock and the leaves from Lost Lagoon cardstock.  The centers of the larger flowers were added over the Berry Bliss flowers.  All were assembled on the front around the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• A couple Pearlized Faceted Circles were added next to the greeting label.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a pretty color challenge this week!

FRAGRANT FLOWERS

Even though these seem to be Valentine/Heart colors, I wanted to be a little different and use flowers instead of hearts!  I wonder what the rest of the design team will use?

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
• A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of pink floral Made with Love DSP was added on top.
• The floral frame from Fragrant Flowers Dies was cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
• The coordinating florals were cut with the Die from Basic White cardstock and adhered behind the frame.
• Just the center of the flowers were cut with the frame die from Poppy Parade cardstock, then inserted in the white flower centers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Hello was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the banner die.
• A single flower was stamped with the outline in Flirty Flamingo Ink and the insides with Poppy Parade Ink.  It was hand-cut.
• A double leaf was cut with the Die from Basic White cardstock.
• Some 1/8″ Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon was tied in a loopy bow and added to the right corner of the frame with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  The greeting banner was added with a Stampin’ Dimensional over the ribbon and the flower and leaves were added next to it.
• A trio of Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the flower center and the background.
