It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. It’s a pretty color combination for you to try this week!
FRAGRANT FOREST
This background stamp appeals to me somehow! I added two shades of green to the background image for a little variation in color…the color challenge worked great!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty Peacock cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The stamp was inked with Mossy Meadow Ink, then highlighted with Pretty Peacock Ink and a sponge dauber randomly over the trees, then stamped on a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Basic White, then trimmed to 3-3/4 x 5. It was added to the base card.
- A 1 x 3-3/4 piece of All About Autumn DSP was added across the front and a 1/4 x 3-3/4 strip of Gold Foil Paper was added over top.
- The greeting from Christmas Classics was stamped with Pretty Peacock Ink on Moody Mauve cardstock, then punched with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (Online Exclusive) and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two holly leaves were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. The berries were stamped with Moody Mauve Ink. All were cut with the Christmas Classics Dies and added to the label.
- A trio of Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the background.
