Our Creatively Simple theme has a new theme for the month of July!  Time for “Celebrations” cards!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

I honestly have used this bundle WAY more than I thought I would!  I love the stamp images, but the dies are SO cool!  This card has a single flower…to me it looks like a magnolia!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Strawberry Slush cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla cardstock was stamped with the Heirloom Boutique greeting in Peaceful Pine Ink.  The rest was speckled with dots using the Strawberry Slush Blender Pen and tapping it against the lid to transfer the ink.
  • The large and small flowers were cut from Basic White cardstock using the Dies, the centers brushed with Strawberry Slush Ink.
  • The leaves were cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock with the Die, then brushed with Peaceful Pine Ink.
  • The flower was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A white Adhesive Backed Blooms was placed in the center.

CS250 – Heirloom Boutique

Our Creatively Simple theme for the month of June is “New In Colors”!   This week I focused on the returning Crisp Cantaloupe color!  It’s a pretty shade of peach!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

This card came together quickly!  I love the soft colors and old fashion look to this stamp set!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Barely Blush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crisp Cantaloupe was stamped with the floral image in Crisp Cantaloupe Ink in the upper left and lower right corners.
  • A 3 x 4 piece of Bloom Boutique DSP was added across the center, then a 1-1/4 x 4 coordinating green DSP across it towards the bottom.
  • The oval from Framed Violets Dies was cut from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the Heirloom Boutique image in Hybrid Basic Black Ink.  It was colored with Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow and Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
  • “Remember” was stamped with Hybrid Basic Black Ink on 1/2 x 2-1/4 piece of Barely Blush cardstock and the ends cut at an angle.  It was added to the front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • Two 2026-28 In Color Butterflies were added to the background of the oval.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  Sketch layouts are always my favorite to use to get me started creating.  I knew exactly what dies I wanted to use on this card!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

As always, flowers remain my number one love for stamping and die-cuts!  This Heirloom Boutique Die Set has some awesome flowers in it, but I love the color capability of the stamps…two for one!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Hydrangea Hue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Peaceful Pine cardstock was embossed with the Floral Spray Embossing Folder and added to the front.
  • A 3 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was added to the top left corner.
  • Two medium flowers from Heirloom Boutique Dies were cut from Hydrangea Hue cardstock, the small flowers from Lemon Lolly cardstock and the centers from Daffodil Delight cardstock.  They were adhered together with Monoadhesive Glue, then added to the white panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two sets of double leaves were cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock with the Dies and added under the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Banner Sayings was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink on 1/2 x 2 strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock and added between the flowers with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • The small and large In Color Butterflies were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite 2026 New Designer Paper

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop.  This week’s theme is “Favorite New 2026 Designer Paper”!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

I know I already gave you a hint of my favorite new designer paper in a previous post, but in case you missed it…the Velvet Meadows Designer Paper is gorgeous!  I love the velvet texture on some of the flowers and leaves!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4.  The shorter flap is folded back on itself.
  • A 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 piece of Velvet Meadow DSP was added on the shorter front flap.
  • Three 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 square of Basic White cardstock were cut.  Two were added as a diamond shape along the folded edge of the front flap.  The third one was placed inside between the other two.
  • The greeting from Banner Sayings was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink in the center of the inside diamond.
  • Two of the medium flowers were cut from Berry Burst cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and added to the diamond shapes with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two of the small flowers were cut from Bubble Bath cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and added to the center of the Berry Burst flowers, flat.
  • Two of the double leaves were cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and added under the flower petals with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two large white Dreamy Flowers were added to the center of the flowers.
  • A 1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of the same Velvet Meadow DSP was added to the inside.

I think it is the bright colors and bold print that I like about this DSP…which is different for me because I normally trend towards stripes and polka dots or small prints!

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a fun sketch this week!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

OK…yes, I’m slightly obsessed with this new bundle!  I hadn’t had a chance to do any layering flowers using the dies, so I used the sketch and replaced the squares with flower shapes!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Berry Burst cardstock was added on top.
  • Next a layer of Bloom Boutique DSP was cut to 3-3/4 x 5 and added to the front (LOVE the velvet details on here!
  • The two large flowers were cut with the Dies from Berry Burst cardstock, the medium sized flowers from Bubble Bath cardstock and adhered together, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The centers were cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock with the dies.
  • The leaves were cut from Peaceful Pine cardstock and tucked under the larger flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Heirloom Boutique stamp set was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink on 3/4 x 3-1/2 and the ends flag cut.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
  • Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot on the greeting.
  • A trio of white Sunset Sparkle Sequins were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration is a field of flowers!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

I love this new bundle, Heirloom Boutique…especially the dies!  And this Velvet Meadow DSP is also awesome!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Peaceful Pine cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of the Velvet Meadow DSP was added on top.
  • The arch was cut from Basic White cardstock with the Everyday Arches Die and omit stamped with the Heirloom Boutique greeting (partially inked one portion, then the other to divide them onto two lines) using Berry Burst Ink.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The flower and leaves were cut from Basic White cardstock with the Heirloom Boutique Dies and brushed with Berry Burst, Bubble Bath and Peaceful Pine Inks using the Blending Brushes.
  • The center was cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock and added to the flower.  The flower and leaves were popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the arch.
  • Some Dreamy Flower were added to the arch and the background to finish it off.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a fun sketch for you to try this week!

HEIRLOOM BOUTIQUE

Here’s another new Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’ upcoming catalog called Heirloom Boutique!  Of course, it is flowers…you know I love them…but I was looking at my stash of current stamps, and I really am limited on flowers, believe it or not!  This one is pretty because you can color…or use the fantastic dies!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock (a retuning color!), score at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • Three 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 pieces of Bloom Boutique DSP were added to the background.
  • A 1 x 4-1/4 strip of Peaceful Pine cardstock (LOVE this new In Color!) was added across the front towards the bottom.
  • The Stylish Shapes Circle was cut from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the floral cluster from Heirloom Blooms in Memento Black Ink.  It was watercolored with the Crisp Cantaloupe and Peaceful Pine Ink Pads and water painter.  The circle was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimenisonals.
  • The greeting was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink on Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock and hand-cut around the word Love, then added to the circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Large and small Crisp Cantaloupe 2026-28 In Color Butterflies were added to the top of the circle.
