It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This week is a fun color challenge.
This FREE Sale-A-Bration set, Hippest Hippos, was the FIRST thing I picked…along with the FREE Sale-A-Bration Hippo Dies! Just SO cute! And, I figured that hippos don’t all have to be gray, do they? This So Saffron hippo is just TOO fun!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Orchid Oasis cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on the front.
- A 3 x 4-1/4 piece of 2022-24 In Colors Designer Paper was added to the center.
- The 1-1/4 x 4 piece of Balmy Blue cardstock was cut with the waves border in the Hippo Dies and stamped with the Hippest Hippos greeting in Memento Black Ink. It was added to the front.
- A stitched circle was cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies from Basic White cardstock and adhered on front.
- The hippo was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and colored with the So Saffron, Balmy Blue and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Hippo Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flowers were cut from So Saffron cardstock with the dies and added to the front.
- The glasses were cut from Orchid Oasis cardstock and added to the hippo to give her a little sass!
