Hello! It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. Hmm, interesting colors…could go SO many different ways! I decided to go with a winter color theme (although I’m definitely not ready for that type of weather!)
JOYFUL FLURRY
Many of you know that I can’t resist a snowman or snowflake stamp set! I love that some of the coordinating snowflake dies in the Joyful Flurry Bundle only partially cut thru so that you can lift the edges and create dimension. Sorry, I only used the cut-out snowflakes on here today and stamped the rest. But I’ll share those dimensional snowflakes soon!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Smoky Slate cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 panel of Basic White was stamped with the Joyful Flurry large snowflake in Pool Party Ink, the medium snowflake in Fresh Freesia Ink and the small snowflake in stamped off Smoky Slate Ink towards the bottom right corner. It was adhered to the base card.
- A 1/2 x 3-1/4 strip of Fresh Freesia cardstock was added to the front.
- Joyful Wishes from Joyful Flurry stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Pool Party cardstock. The speckle image was randomly stamped with Pool Party Ink around the greeting. It was punched with the Handmade Tag Punch and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two small snowflakes were cut from Silver Metallic Paper with the Frosted Flurry Dies and tucked around the tag.
- A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the centers of the larger snowflakes.
