It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a different color challenge this week!

MADE WITH SWEETNESS

I like all the fruits in this Made with Sweetness die set! I thought the blackberries would be nice to use for this color challenge! I would like to have used a little green for the stems, but it worked out ok!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Barely Blush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of gingham Silly Old Bear DSP was added on top.
The 1 x 4 piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock was added across the middle.
A 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece off Basic Gray cardstock was cut into a banner shape at the bottom and adhered to the front.
The 2-1/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Vellum cardstock was adhered inside the banner.
Some Barely Blush cardstock was brushed with Blackberry Bliss Ink, then three of the solid background berries were cut with the Die.
The outline of the three berries were cut with the Die from Blackberry Bliss cardstock and adhered over the backgrounds. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three of the berry tops were cut from Basic Gray cardstock using the Die and added to the back of the top of the berries.
Wink of Stella was used to color over the berries to make them glisten.
The greeting from Filled with Sweetness was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink on 1 x 2-3/4 Basic White cardstock and the ends cut at an angle. It was adhered flat to the front.
A trio of white Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a pretty color combination challenge for you this week!

MADE WITH SWEETNESS

I had to have these fruit dies…great for creating little cards or tags for jams and jellies you make! I try to go strawberry and blueberry picking every season I’m in Florida! But even if I don’t get to pick my own, the Plant City farms are less than an hour away, so the produce is VERY fresh at the markets!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Granny Apple Green was embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and added to the front.
The recipe card was cut with the Die from Basic White cardstock and about 1/2″ trimmed off the bottom to make it fit better.
The Cute greeting was stamped with Granny Apple Green Ink and the “as can be” was stamped with Calypso Coral Ink. The bees were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The recipe card was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The peach bodies were cut with the Die from Crushed Curry cardstock and the skin and center from Calypso Coral cardstock, then adhered together. They center one was added flat and the two front ones were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The banners were cut from Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral cardstocks using the Three Banner Punch, then trimmed and tucked under the recipe card on the right.
Some Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background for a little bling.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a basket of fruit! Looks so good!

FILLED WITH SWEETNESS

I was kind of stumped on what to use for today’s card! I love the fruit in the Made with Sweetness and Filled with Sweetness bundles, but they are pretty large to use in the Easter Basket! So, I improvised by using the jar topper in Filled with Sweetness Dies as my “basket”!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Beige was added on top.
The jar topper was cut from Early Espresso cardstock using the Filled with Sweetness Die and added to the bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The “apples” were cut with the cherry Made with Sweetness Die from Real Red and Granny Apple Green cardstock. The “oranges” or “grapefruits” were cut with the blueberry die from Crushed Curry, Timid Tiger and Granny Apple Green. All were layered into the “basket” with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greenery pieces were cut from Old Olive and tucked around the top.
The greeting from Filled with Sweetness Stamp Set was stamped with Early Espresso on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Filled with Sweetness label Die. It was added to the front of the basket with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Linen Thread was tied to the label in a bow.
A trio of green Moody Palette Dots were added to the background.
