Happy February! One month down…only two more to go until Spring is here! Actually our winter hasn’t been too bad (knock on wood). We’ve had warmer than normal temperatures here in Ohio for the most part! I’ve probably just jinxed us now! lol!
I was happy to get the new January My Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail this month! Although, the suggested banner and treat packages are darling ideas, I knew I’d be using mine for a different purpose. I ordered some It’s My Party Enamel Dots for my Stamp Club customers for a little Christmas gift, but they didn’t come in time to go in their order bags. I elected to keep them for a little Valentine gift instead! I filled the Sketched Dots Gift Bags with the Enamel Dots, folded down the top, then added the individual hearts with the clothespin, red sequins and colored banner, tied with Bakers’s Twine! The only thing I added that was not IN the kit was the small Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper punched heart, and the bag/gift, of course. Yes…everything else was included! The hearts were stamped with the included Cute Conversations stamp set and Watermelon Wonder Ink. Made it SO quick to make up 16 of them!
Don’t they look sweet all lined up? I still have PLENTY of paper scraps to punch more hearts, and even leftover clothespins, sequins, baker’s twine and banners! I’ll be making up a batch of cards to send out for Valentine’s Day, too!
