Happy Monday! It’s time for our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenge! This week we have a pretty tablescape for our inspiration piece!
Now, I’ll admit that tablescape didn’t scream “Christmas” to me, but then I thought…why not? I think they are awesome colors for a non-traditional Christmas color scheme! I used Stampin’ Up!’s Poinsettia Petals a LOT last year when it first came out, and was so glad to see it carry over to the Annual Catalog. The big blooms were perfect for this challenge!
POINSETTIA PETALS BUNDLE
Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Polished Pink cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock.
- Down the center is a 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of black buffalo print in Pattern Party Designer Paper (Host only option).
- The large, medium and small poinsettia petals were cut from Polished Pink cardstock with the Poinsettia Dies and adhered together with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three leaves were cut from Soft Succulent cardstock with the Poinsettia Dies and added under the poinsettia with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three berry branches and center were cut from Black Glitter Paper with the Poinsettia Dies and tucked under the flower and adhered in the center.
- Merry Christmas was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and hand-cut around the letters, then added across the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
