Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is set of potted plants!

PLANTED PARADISE

The Planted Paradise stamp set was the obvious choice to use for this challenge! I flipped the pots to make my card vertical instead of horizontal AND, I was able to use up a lot of bits and pieces I had already stamped! Made it easy to pull this together!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lost Lagoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was blended along the bottom with Lost Lagoon Ink for the ground.
A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Let’s Go Shopping Designer Paper was added to the left side.
The greeting from Darling Details stamp set was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink in the upper right corner.
The pots were stamped with Pebbled Path, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze Inks, cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The trio leaf was stamped with Lost Lagoon, the three small leaves with Granny Apple Green, the three tall leaves with Old Olive and the spikes with Mossy Meadow Ink. All were hand cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of gold Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty potted plant!

PLANTED PARADISE

I’m not sure if the light green things are flowers or leaves, but I chose to focus on those for today’s card!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Parakeet Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of In Color 6×6 DSP was added to the right side of a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pebbled Path cardstock, then added to the front.
- The Nested Essentials label was cut with the die from Mossy Meadow cardstock and adhered on front.
- The container was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut then added to the front of the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The small leaf was stamped five times in a circular motion with Parakeet Party Ink on Basic White and hand-cut. Repeat for second one. Add to top of the container with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three long leaves were stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Basic White and hand-cut, then added at the top.
- The greeting from Sending Smiles is stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink on 1/2 x 2-1/2 and the end cut at an angle, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the container.
- Three gold Sparkle Gems were added in the centers and to the bottom of the label.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. Welcome back! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to celebrating a NEW YEAR! This week we have a pretty color combination!

PLANTED PARADISE

I’ve been thinking that several of the images in the new Planted Paradise Stamp set could be combined for flowers! Here’s my first go at it…I’m sure I’ll be making many more! I really like these stylized images! This one was made into a pretty poinsettia!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pecan Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the Throughout the Year (carryover to online exclusive!) greeting in Pecan Pie…so easy to change to a birthday or get well if you want!
The 2 x 4 piece of Glorious Gingham Designer Paper was added along the bottom.
A 1/4 x 4 strip of More Dazzled Specialty DSP was added to hide the seam.
The flower trio image was stamped three times on Basic White cardstock with Cherry Cobbler Ink and hand-cut. The small leaf was stamped three times in Old Olive Ink and hand-cut. They were combined and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three gold Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the center.

Although I went with a poinsettia look to my flower, imagine it in different colors! OK, go check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with this challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary

Merry Christmas to everyone! Many blessings to you all! Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. We have a holiday cake to inspire you!

PLANTED PARADISE

For today’s celebration, I’m using a NEW set from the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalog…can you guess which one? It’s definitely not a Christmas set…but I thought it made great ornaments to go with our fancy cake today!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- A 1-1/2 x 4 strip of Joy of Christmas Designer Paper was added to the front.
- The planter from Planted Paradise Stamp Set was stamped with Real Red on Very Vanilla and stamped with Versamark on Very Vanilla, then gold embossed. The tops were planters turned upside down and stamped with Smoky Slate Ink. All were hand-cut, adhered together, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Joy from Brightest Glow Stamp Set was stamped with Real Red Ink on Very Vanilla, then hand-cut and added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three snowflakes from the Wishes All Around Dies were cut from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Iridescent Pearls were added to the centers of the snowflakes.
- Some gold Simply Elegant Trim were tied in a bow and added to each of the ornament tops.
