It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. Another great sketch this week to inspire you!

SEASIDE BAY

The Mini Catalog is quickly coming to an end, and I wanted to use the Seaside Bay stamp set again! I love this crab! So happy this set is carrying over to the new catalog…but the awesome coordinating DSP is not…make sure to grab it before it goes away!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Night of Navy cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Mint Macaron was embossed with the Online Exclusive Basics 3D Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 1 x 5-1/4 strip of navy By the Bay Designer Paper was added across the top.
The 2-3/4 x 3-1/2 piece of fish print By the Bay Designer Paper was added on top.
A 5/8 x 4-3/4 strip of Soft Suede cardstock was stamped with the Seaside Bay greeting in Night of Navy Ink, then adhered.
The crab from Seaside Bay stamp set was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock, cut with the Seaside Bay Dies, then colored with the Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of gold Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the front for a little bling.

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme. This month the theme is Animals! We will design our cards using this theme!

SEASIDE BAY

I think the Seaside Bay Bundle is so sweet! I love this bird image (and the crab!) I needed a bunch of Sympathy cards, so made this one more masculine looking.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of By the Bay DSP was added on top.
A 1 x 4 strip of Crumb Cake was added across the front.
The scenic pattern of By the Bay DSP was cut with the Stitched Rectangle, then stamped with the seashells along the bottom and greeting across the top in Soft Suede Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The bird was stamped with Soft Suede Ink and colored with Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Faux Sea Glass Shapes were added to the sand.

Saturday Blog Hop – Non-traditional Valentines

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week we are showing off Non-traditional Valentines! We don’t always have to use predominately hearts and flowers and red and pinks for Valentines! I kind of went out on a limb using Seaside Bay for my hubby’s Valentine this year!

SEASIDE BAY

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Sahara Sand cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 2-1/2 x 5 piece of By the Bay Designer Paper was added to a 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock, then adhered to the front.
The fishing “net” was cut with the die in Share a Milkshake from Sahara Sand cardstock…I thought it was pretty authentic! It was adhered with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
Two crabs were stamped with Calypso Coral Ink on Basic White, colored with Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, and cut with the Seaside Bay Dies, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A large and a small scallop shell were cut from Petal Pink cardstock, the grass from Sahara Sand cardstock with the Seaside Bay Dies. All were added to the front.
Be My Valentine from Share a Milkshake stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Calypso Coral cardstock and punched with the Scallop Oval Duo Punch, then added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Country Bouquet hearts were punched from Calypso Coral and Petal Pink and added to the front.
A couple gold Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the shell and heart.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This week is a color challenge!

SEASIDE BAY

I love the crab in this stamp set, so just had to buy it!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Coastal Cabana is added on top.
The 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of By the Bay Designer Paper was added across the front.
The greeting from Seaside Bay was stamped with Night of Navy Ink in the lower right corner.
The 2 x 4-1/4 piece of Basic White was stamped along the bottom with stamped off Petal Pink Ink and the sand and seashells image.
It was layered on a 2-1/4 x 4-1/2 piece of Petal Pink cardstock, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two crabs were stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Seaside Bay Dies.
The two grasses were cut from Coastal Cabana cardstock with the Dies and the small scallop shell cut from Petal Pink cardstock. All were layered on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Iridescent Pearls were added to the background and another one to the scallop shell.
