This week’s Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is creating a new color combination with one of the new In Colors and two of our regular line colors to create a fun color combination! I chose Parakeet Party and combined it with Polished Pink and Garden Green for a bright and cheerful color combo!
SENDING SMILES
A couple weeks ago, we used a fun sketch for our Thursday Challenge cards. Mary and I made VERY similar ones; we do that a LOT! So, I switched out my card to use now.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Parakeet Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Tea Boutique Designer Paper was added to the left side and a coordinating 1-1/8 x 5-1/4 piece was added to the right side, leaving a little space.
- A 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock was added to a 1-3/4 x 4-1/2 piece of Polished Pink cardstock. The panel was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- On Basic White cardstock, the flower stem was stamped with Parakeet Party, the flower petals with Polished Pink and the flower center with Mango Melody. They were cut with the Sending Dies and added on front panel with Stampin’ DImensionals.
- Sending and the smaller tag were cut from Garden Green cardstock. The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink. The tag was added with Stampin’ DImensionals and Sending with Monoadhesive Glue.
- A trio of In Color Opal Rounds were added to the background.
