IM323 – So Refreshing with Lemons

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a fun set of lemon kitchen towels!

SO REFRESHING

The only stamp set I have with lemons is So Refreshing.  So where did that designer paper come from?  I decided to stamp some “designer paper” of my own!  Who remembers when that was the only way we could get prints…the designer paper selection was SO limited back 20 years ago!  We have beautiful ones now!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 3-3/4 x 5 layer of yellow striped Lighter Than Air 6×6 Designer Paper was added on top.
  • The 3 x 4-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped randomly with the lemons in Daffodil Delight Ink and the leaves randomly with Granny Apple Green Ink.  They were colored with Light Lemon Lolly and Light Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends.  It was added to the front.
  • A 1-1/4 x 3 piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock was added on top with a 1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock layered on top.
  • The greeting from So Refreshing was stamped with Granny Apple Green Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Nested Essentials Dies and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins were added to the banner and background for a little bling!

IM292 – So Refreshing

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges.  We have a beautiful tablescape to inspire us today!

SO REFRESHING

I thought the flowers from So Refreshing Stamp Set would work well in a pitcher.  Then decided to use just the liquid image for a vase!  The Blueberry Bushel color really stands out, doesn’t it?

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
    • A 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper was added on the right side.
    • A 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Garden Green cardstock was added towards the bottom.
    • The Basic White cardstock was cut with the second from smallest Scallop Contour Die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Two stems and flowers were stamped on Basic White cardstock with Garden Green and Lemon Lolly Inks and cut with the So Refreshing Dies.  The inside of the pitcher was stamped with Blueberry Bushel Ink, and hand cut.  All were added to the Scallop rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The trio leaf die was cut from Garden Green cardstock and added along the bottom and the top of the base.
    • A trio of blue Tinsel Gems Four Pack were added to the flower centers.
    • Thank You was inked with Blueberry Bushel and stamped on 5/8 x 2 piece of Basic White, cut at an angle, and tucked next to the vase.

CS99 – So Refreshing

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme.  This month the theme is Dies!  So many awesome dies in the catalog that can almost make the card by themselves!

SO REFRESHING

I really like the So Refreshing dies, especially this one of a pitcher!  I used the Countryside Inn Designer Paper on mine today!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded!
  • A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Basic White was cut with the Countryside Corners Die and added to the front.
  • The greeting from So Refreshing was stamped with Memento Black Ink at the top of the opening.
  • The pitcher was cut from Countryside Inn DSP with the So Refreshing Dies, the inside of the pitcher from Misty Moonlight cardstock and the leaves from Lemon Lime Twist.  They were assembled on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The flower cluster was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock and colored with Sweet Sorbet Combo.  It was hand-cut and then added around the pitcher with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of blue Tinsel Gems Three Pack were added to the background.

CCM Saturday Blog Hop – Stamp It Up

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week’s theme is “Stamp It Up”.  Our new Annual Catalog went live this week for all customers!  So, our Design Team is featuring their favorite new catalog stamp set!  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this So Refreshing Bundle…too cute!

 

SO REFRESHING

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pumpkin Pie cardstock was added on front.
  • The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Masterfully Made Designer Paper was added on top.
  • A 1 x 4 strip of Lemon Lime Twist was added across the front.
  • The rectangle was cut from Basic White cardstock using the Scallop Contour Dies.  The pitcher was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink, the liquid with Lemon Lolly Ink and the lemon slices with Crushed Curry Ink.  The pitcher was outlined with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.
  • The lemon slice and lemons were stamped with Lemon Lolly and Crushed Curry Inks on Basic White, then cut with the dies.  The leaves stamped with Lemon Lime Twist and Old Olive Inks and were also cut with the dies.  A small triangle was cut out of the lemon slice so that it fit over the lip of the pitcher.  The lemons added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from So Refreshing stamp set was stamped with Old Olive Ink across the top.
  • A trio of yellow Adhesive Backed Solid Gems were added to the background.
