It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop. For the next several weeks we will be “Casing the Designer”. Each week we have picked a designer and will select a card she designed. We will use the Colors and Layout of her design and recreate our version using stamps/bundles from the September-December Mini Catalog!

This week we are “Casing Lori de Groot”!  I picked a Christmas card from last year to case!

 

 

SENDING CHEER

I used the new stamp bundle, Sending Cheer, for my case the designer card this week!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Joy of Christmas Designer Paper was added on top.
• The Scallop Contour Die was cut from Basic White cardstock and embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder, then added to the front.
• The stocking was stamped with Real Red Ink on Basic White and cut with the Sending Cheer Die, along with an extra cuff cut from Basic White cardstock.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• The holly leaves were stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink and berries with Poppy Parade Ink on Basic White and cut with the Dies.  They were added to the stocking.
• Some In Color Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and added under the holly with a Mini Glue Dot.
• A 3/4 x 2 piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock was cut at an angle and tucked next to the stocking.
• Sending Cheer was stamped with Poppy Parade Ink on scrap Basic White, then hand-cut and added to the Shaded Spruce strip.
• A trio of Tinsel Gems 4-pack were added to the background.
