This month our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Designer Paper as the focus on our cards!
STORYBOOK FRIENDS
I admit that I wasn’t sure about this suite of products at first…the small size of the images was a little intimidating! But after working with the set for a little bit, it actually was fun to use! The only stamping on here is the greeting…the rest is the Designer Paper! Made it pretty quick to pull together!
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 piece of the house print in Storybook Moments DSP was added to the base card.
- A 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Pecan Pie cardstock was added on top.
- The circles were cut from Calypso Coral, Basic Beige and Old Olive cardstock with the Stylish Shapes Dies.
- The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on the Basic Beige circle and added to the front towards the bottom.
- The seed packets die-cut from the Storybook Moments DSP was added to the Calypso Coral circle and adhered on the front.
- The chipmunk die-cut from the Storybook Moments DSP was added to the Old Olive circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the circle added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, too.
- A trio of Antique Pearls were added to the background of the Pecan Pie strip.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added above the greeting with a Mini Glue Dot.
