Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration is a snowy farm landscape!

TRACTOR & CO

My dad was a farmer when I was young, and I remember an old red tractor he drove just like this!  Of course, he had the fancier tractors, too, but this was an old reliable one!  I’m pretty sure I have pictures of our kids sitting on it!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Shaded Spruce cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Pool Party was stamped and stamped off across the top using the Ornamental Christmas tree using Shaded Spruce Ink!  I LOVE this tree and I’m sure you’ll be seeing me use it a LOT!
  • A 2 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and adhered to the bottom, the torn piece added on top of the other piece for a snowbank look.
  • Two trees from Tractor & Co were cut from Shaded Spruce cardstock using the die and added to the front left side with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The tractor was stamped with Real Red Ink, the wheels and seat with Memento Black Ink and cut with the Dies.  They were adhered on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The hubcaps were cut from Smoky Slate cardstock and added to the wheels.
  • The greeting was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink on 1/2 x 1-1/2 piece of Basic White and the end cut at an angle.  It was added by the trees with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • Some silver Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems were added to the hubcaps and to the trees for a little bling!

 

So fun!  There are so many details in the inspiration piece…I wanted to use the deer and the geese…but thought I had used enough product already on this card!  OK, check out Debbie’s Inspiration Monday card over on Create with Stamping Friends!

Saturday Blog Hop – Fruits & Veggies

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop.  This week’s challenge is Fruits & Veggies!  How creative can our Design Team be?

I went down on the farm…literally…for today’s fruits and veggies card!  The tractor is so cute…but I used a variety of the complimentary stamps for today’s card without the tractor!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 3 x 5 piece of Gathering Together Designer Paper was added towards the left side.
  • A coordinating strip of 1/2 x 3-3/4 was added towards the bottom.
  • The large circle was cut with the Spotlight on Nature Die from Cloud Cover cardstock.  The corn stalks were stamped in Old Olive across the center and the corn cobs with Crushed Curry Ink.
  • On Basic White, the haystack was stamped with Crushed Curry Ink, the Pumpkins with Timid Tiger Ink and the rooster with Pecan Pie Ink.
  • The stems of the pumpkins were colored with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends and the comb of the rooster with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.
  • They were all cut with the Tractor & Co Dies and added to the bottom of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The circle was trimmed off below the hay and pumpkins.
  • The greeting was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on 1/2 x 2 strip of Crumb Cake cardstock and added under the circle.
  • A trio of Low-Profile Shimmer Dots were added to the background.
