It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a fun sketch to try!
UNDER MY WING
With the large blank space on this sketch, I went looking for a stamp that would fill the space! I had purchased this Under My Wing set because I thought the bird would make a pretty Christmas card! ButI thought it needed some additional Christmasy elements, so used the Noel Tidings stamps with it!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base 4-1/4 x 11 Peaceful Pine cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 panel of Basic White cardstock was stamped the top portion with the pine needles image from Noel Tidings in Peaceful Pine Ink.
- The bird and branch were stamped with Basic Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Hydrangea Hue, Pecan Pie, Golden Glow an Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It was hand-cut and added over the pine needles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Season’s Greetings from Noel Tidings was stamped with Cherry Cobbler Ink under the bird and the panel added to the front of the card.
- A 1/2 x 4 piece of striped Alpine Winter DSP was added under the greeting.
- Some berries from the Adhesive Backed Christmas Berries were added to the pine needle branches.
