CSF Saturday Blog Hop – Trim it Down

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Trim it Down”.  Last week we showed off our over-the-top cards…this week we are doing minimalist designs!  I combined two stamp sets to get the look I wanted!

FOREVER FOREST & UNDER THE MOON

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the trees from Forever Forest stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink.  The ground was stamped with Crumb Cake Ink randomly across the bottom.
  • The moon from Under the Moon stamp set was stamped behind the trees with Balmy Blue Ink.
  • Celebrate from Unbounded Love stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink.
  • The stamped layer was added to the base card.
  • One bird from Adhesive Backed Dragonflies and Birds package was added in front of the moon.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop – Summertime Dream

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Summertime Dream”.  What do you dream about in the summer?  Warm weather?  The beach?  Green grass and blue skies?  My first inclination was to use my Beach Day Bundle…cause…well, I love the beach!  But my new Under the Moon stamp set was calling my name.  It’s still a water view, which I love!

UNDER THE MOON

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 2 x 5-1/2 strip of Summer Splash 2024-26 In Color 6×6 DSP was added towards the right side.
  • On a 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of Basic White cardstock, the water scene was built with Summer Splash Ink for the water, the sun was inked with Lemon Lolly and then a sponge dauber used to add Peach Pie Ink around the edges, it was stamped above the water line.  The clouds were stamped off Basic Beige Ink (LOVE this new neutral!)  The sailboat was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink.  It was cut with the Deckled Rectangle Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Inspirational Sketches was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on a 1/2 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock and the ends cut at an angle.
  • Some coral Baker’s Twine Three Pack was wrapped around my fingers several times and then added to the front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  The greeting was added on top with more dimensionals.
  • The peach Shiny Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the background.
