Our Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Achievers get together each month for a Blog Hop! I’m blessed with great customers and downline who helped me achieve this year’s Incentive Trip Reward. I’m still working hard to earn the next Baltic Cruise one! Our theme this month is ANYTHING CURRENT!
WAVES OF INSPIRATION
I was going for a nautical flag look to my background DSP piece. Not sure if it really worked, but I still liked how it turned out.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pacific Point cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pool Party was stamped with the wave image from Waves of Inspiration in the top left and bottom right corners for a textural look.
- I cut five 1/2 x 2-3/4 strips of the dark blue Waves of the Ocean Designer Paper. (Did you know that the Stampin’ Up! artist created this DSP by photographing actual poured paint samples? How cool!) and added them to a 2-3/4 x 4-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock.
- The happy birthday greeting from Waves of Inspiration stamp set was stamped with Night of Navy Ink in one of the open Basic White stripes.
- A 3/4 x 4 piece of Crumb Cake was added across the front.
- The pelican/post was stamped with Soft Suede Ink on a 1-3/4 x 3-3/4 piece of Basic White cardstock and colored with Light Crumb Cake, Light So Saffron and Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. The bottom was cut at a flag end. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two birds were cut with the Waves Dies from Crumb Cake cardstock.
- Two Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels were added to the Crumb Cake strip.
I thought this was a really different way to use this set! Remember, the Waves of the Ocean Designer Paper and Rhinestone Waves Jewels are only available while supplies last! If you need any supplies to recreate this project, I’ll be happy to place the order for you in the United States or click here to go to my Online Store!
