It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a soft color palette for our challenge.
SCALLOPED BLOOMS
I’ve been wanting to do a flower card with layers of the scallops. Today’s challenge was a perfect time! The background Splashes of Sparkle DSP (unfortunately just retired) has lots of shimmer and shine!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Splashes of Sparkle DSP (now retired) was added to the background (love the metallic finish!)
- The largest scallop used was cut from Daffodil Delight, the next two smaller scallops from Bubble Bath cardstock and the center from Daffodil Delight cardstock. They were assembled together and adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The stem is a 1/4″ Strip of Basic Beige cardstock and the leaves were die-cut from Basic Beige cardstock. They were added under the scallop flower.
- The greeting from Scalloped Blooms stamp set was stamped on 3/4 x 3 Basic White cardstock with Basic Black Ink and the end cut at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The pink Dreamy Flowers Embellishments were added to the center, greeting and the background.
