I love the colors in this card…they are so nice and bright and SUMMERY looking! We had a rainy start to Mother's Day here, but the day turned sunny and nice! I got to speak to both my boys and see one…so it was a good day! Plus spent the day visiting with my mom and my hubby's mom. We are blessed they are still with us! On the Grow is one of the stamp sets we are featuring during the Preview Weeks on Create with Connie and Mary!
So, I started with a base card of Pumpkin Pie. I layered on Daffodil Delight that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines Impressions Folder. I used some scraps of the Simply Scrappin' Kit, Playful Polka Dots, for the strips of Designer Paper on the front. I cut the large oval from the Ovals Die from Whisper White. I used Mary's trick of the Petal Cone Die scallops to clip and place around the oval! I love having a Stampin' Up! scallop oval that fits behind the large oval!
I stamped Stampin' Up!'s On the Grow image on the oval with Black Stazon and watercolored with my AquaPainter and Stampin' Write Markers in the colors of Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Rose Red. I added three pearls to the top of the oval and the Thinking of You greeting with Black Stazon Ink.

very clever to use the Petal Cone for the scalloped trim…I wouldn't have figured that out if you hadn't told us.
