It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week we are featuring Animal Love! We are using one of the animal critter stamps for a Valentine!
OCEAN FRIENDS
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pebbled Path cardstock was added on top.
- The large, stitched heart from Hearts of Elegance was cut from Toadstool Gardens DSP and stamped with the greeting from Hearts of Elegance in Cajun Craze Ink. It was adhered to the front towards the top.
- The coral was cut with the Ocean Friends Die from Pool Party cardstock and added at the bottom.
- One crab was stamped with Calypso Coral outline and stamped off Calypso Coral solid, then colored with the Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends.
- The other crab was stamped with Cajun Craze Ink for the detail and stamped off Cajun Craze Ink for the solid image. Both were cut with the Ocean Friends Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A small, stitched heart was cut with the Hearts of Elegance Die from Poppy Parade cardstock and added tucked in the claws.
- The starfish were cut from Calypso Coral cardstock and added to the coral.
- A trio of Sunny Day Iridescent Dots (2 blue, 1 orange) were added to the background.
I just had TOO much fun creating this card! I’m saving it for my husband’s Valentine, so I need to hide it, so he doesn’t see it on my desk!
