MATCH DAY
I know that soccer just isn’t for guys! In fact, my grand-daughter played for several years until she got into competitive gymnastics! But for my card, I tried for a more masculine color palette with the Basic Gray background!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Granny Apple Green cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Gray cardstock was stamped with the net/grid image across the bottom using Basic Gray Ink.
- A 2-3/4 x 4 piece of A Wonderful Match DSP was added across the front, just above the stamped net/grid images.
- The 2-1/2 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the greeting in the lower left side using Granny Apple Green Ink. It was added to the front.
- The soccer ball was stamped with Basic Black Hybrid Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The grass was cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock using the die and added under the soccer ball.
- The pylon was cut from Timid Tiger cardstock using the die and added in front of the soccer ball on the grass.
- A trio of green Shimmering Dots were added to the background.
