CHARMING DAY
I wonder why I even came up with this week’s theme…it was SO hard to just choose ONE color out of all the awesome Stampin’ Up! colors! But I narrowed it down to Lemon Lime Twist as my favorite color overall. I was SO happy when Stampin’ Up! brought this color back into the lineup from a previous In Color platform! I couldn’t find any Lemon Lime Twist designer paper that I wanted to use, so created my own from black & white designer paper!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Botanical Textures Designer Paper was colored with Lemon Lime Twist Ink using a Blending Brush. It was added to the front.
- The banner was cut from Basic White cardstock using the Party Banners Die and added to the front.
- The Charming Day flower was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends (that’s my favorite In Color right now, too!) It was cut with the Charming Day die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two leaf branches were cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock using the Die and tucked under the flower, adhering with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Charming Day greeting was stamped along the top with Memento Black Ink.
- A trio of Iridescent Faceted Gems were added to the background.
