Saturday Blog Hop – Color My World

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This month we will be featuring song titles with colors in them! This week’s theme is “Color My World”…we are choosing to feature our FAVORITE Stampin’ Up! color!

CHARMING DAY

I wonder why I even came up with this week’s theme…it was SO hard to just choose ONE color out of all the awesome Stampin’ Up! colors! But I narrowed it down to Lemon Lime Twist as my favorite color overall. I was SO happy when Stampin’ Up! brought this color back into the lineup from a previous In Color platform! I couldn’t find any Lemon Lime Twist designer paper that I wanted to use, so created my own from black & white designer paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Botanical Textures Designer Paper was colored with Lemon Lime Twist Ink using a Blending Brush. It was added to the front.
The banner was cut from Basic White cardstock using the Party Banners Die and added to the front.
The Charming Day flower was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Lemon Lime Twist and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends (that’s my favorite In Color right now, too!) It was cut with the Charming Day die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two leaf branches were cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock using the Die and tucked under the flower, adhering with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Charming Day greeting was stamped along the top with Memento Black Ink.
A trio of Iridescent Faceted Gems were added to the background.

CCM Saturday Blog Hop – True Colors

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! For the next few weeks, we will be featuring songs that have color names in their title! This week’s song is “True Colors” by Cyndi Lauper. Our cards will be using ALL the new In Colors at once!

TRANSLUCENT FLORALS

I wasn’t quite sure how I wanted to use all the colors, so ended up using both all the inks and all the cardstock colors on my card. Not exactly how I pictured it, but it turned out ok. lol!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the leaf cluster in Translucent Florals in each color randomly in the background.
1/4 x 5-1.4 strips of each In Color were added to the center.
The greeting was stamped with Pebbled Path Ink on Moody Mauve cardstock and cut with the Something Fancy label die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The leaf cluster was stamped with Boho Blue on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Translucent Florals Dies. It was added next to the label with Stampin[‘ Dimensionals.
The small and large flowers were cut from Wild Wheat cardstock and added to the bottom of the leaf cluster with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three Pebbled Path 2023-25 In Color Dots were added to the flower centers and the label.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite Annual Catalog Bundle

This week’s blog hop theme is our Favorite New Annual Catalog Stamp Set or Bundle. I have SEVERAL favorites, but I was most excited to get the Sweet As a Peach Bundle! Here’s one of the cards my Stamp Club made this month using it!

SWEET AS A PEACH

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pale Papaya cardstock.
Three patterns of You’re A Peach DSP were cut to 1-1/2 x 3-1/4 and added on top.
The scallop rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly was cut from Basic White cardstock, then stamped with the Have a Peachy Day greeting in Calypso Coral Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The trio of peaches image were inked with Pale Papaya, then sponged with some Calypso Coral Ink for a two tone look. The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzazz Ink. Both were cut with the Peach Dies and added to the rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A 3″ piece of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon was tied in a knot and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
Two Elegant Faceted Gems were added to the bottom.

This week’s blog hop theme is Favorite New Designer Paper. Hands down…the new You’re a Peach Designer Paper is my favorite right now! I especially LOVE this small peach print I used on my card! It reminds me of a little sundress romper that I used to have MANY moons ago! I’ve used ALL DSP on this card with only the greeting stamped!

SWEET AS A PEACH

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock.
A 2 x 5-1/4 piece of the little peach print is added to the top.
A 1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of the stripe is added to hide the seam.
Sweet as a Peach is stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink in the lower right corner.
Two of the large peaches from the Peach Dies were cut from the polka dot You’re a Peach DSP and sponged around the edges with Calypso Coral Ink.
Two of the leaves from the Peach Dies were cut from the green print You’re a Peach DSP and sponged around the edges with Shaded Spruce Ink.
They were all added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two pieces of Linen Thread were tied in a bow and added to the stems.
An Artistry Blooms sequin was added next to the greeting for a little bling.

This week’s blog hop theme is to use ALL FIVE of the new In Colors! They blend pretty well together, so this should be fun to see what everyone came up with for their project!

ARTISTICALLY INKED

I decided to stamp the five colors in my background using the “smoosh” image from Artistically Inked stamp set! That was pretty fun!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Polished Pink cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
On top the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped with all five new In Colors, going down the paper light to dark: Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and finally Evening Evergreen.
The floral bundle was cut from Basic Black with the Artistic Die and adhered.
Happy Birthday from Artistically Inked was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 1/2 x 4 strip of Polished Pink cardstock and popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two Soft Succulent In Color Jewels were added next to the greeting.

This week’s blog hop theme is our Favorite New In Color (predominately one color!) Of course, I chose the new Pale Papaya for my favorite…although I really do love ALL of them!

HAND-PENNED PETALS

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pale Papaya cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was embossed with the Hammered Embossing Folder and added on top.
A 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Pale Papaya In Color Designer Paper was added to the left side.
Two 1/4 x 4 pieces of Soft Succulent cardstock were added across the front.
A Stitched So Sweetly rectangle was added to the top, popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flower from Hand-Penned Petals was stamped with Memento Black Ink, then cut with the Penned Flowers Die. It was added on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Soft Succulents cardstock, the end cut on a angle and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Genial Gems was added in the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite Preorder Bundle

This week’s blog hop theme is our Favorite Preorder Bundle! I really couldn’t decide…I really love all the preorder ones I purchased, but I settled on Hand-Penned Petals. Of course! It is a flower set! lol!

HAND-PENNED PETALS

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was stamped in the upper left and lower right corners with the Hand-Penned Petals image in Polished Pink Ink. It was then embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and added to the base card.
A 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White was stamped with the greeting in Memento Black Ink.
Using the Penned Flowers Dies, the large flowers were cut from Polished Pink, the small flowers from Misty Moonlight and the leaves from Granny Apple Green. They were adhered to the front.
The Basic White was layered on the 2-5/8 x 3-5/8 piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock.
A 3/4 x 2-1/2 piece of Polished Pink cardstock was cut with the scallop trim in the Penned Flowers Dies, then added to the bottom. The entire element was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the background.

This week’s blog hop theme is Spring Flowers…should be pretty easy, right? Stampin’ Up! has a wide variety of floral stamp sets! I have to say I knew immediately that I wanted to use the Pierced Blooms Dies again! They are just so gorgeous with their stitching! I kept this one very simple.

PIERCED BLOOMS

Stampin’ Details:

The base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Granny Apple Green.
A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Fine Art Floral Designer Paper was added on top.
The tag in the Pierced Blooms Die was cut from Basic White cardstock, then stamped with the greeting in Springtime Joy with Memento Black Ink. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The flower was cut from Magenta Madness with the Pierced Blooms Die, the center from Daffodil Delight and the leaves from Granny Apple Green.
Some White Baker’s Twine was tied in a bow and added to the leaves with a Mini Glue Dot.
A trio of Magenta Madness In Color Enamel Dots were added to the background.
