IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM
I was torn between two new In Colors that I’m particularly drawn to for 2025-27…Cloud Cover and the returning Strawberry Slush. Since we don’t have the ink pad yet for Cloud Cover, I went with Strawberry Slush on today’s card! And also because I had ALL these parts already on my desk…just had to put them on a base card! lol!
Stampin’ Deta
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Strawberry Slush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
- The 3 x 5-1/4 piece of Strawberry Slush cardstock was embossed with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder, then trimmed along the edge around the floral pattern.
- I used a sponge dauber and White Craft Ink to highlight the raised areas and let it dry. It was added to the left side.
- A 1/4 x 3 strip of Pretty in Pink cardstock was adhered behind the 3/4 x 3-1/2 strip of Floral Impressions DSP and added towards the bottom.
- A 2″ circle was punched from Daffodil Delight cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The large flower was cut with the outline and detail die from Basic White cardstock and the smaller flower from Strawberry Slush cardstock. The tiny flower was cut from Pretty in Pink cardstock with the die. They were adhered together and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The leaves were stamped with Garden Green Ink on Soft Sea Foam and cut with the dies. They were added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals tucked under the flower.
