SNOWY WONDER
Usually, I will go with snowflakes when designing for this theme…but this year I was inspired by the MANY colors of Christmas trees that are out there! For us, we have a traditional tree with coordinating ornaments for upstairs. Then for the basement tree, we have a white tree with bright multicolored (neon!) lights on it! This tree is the one that I add our huge Hallmark Frosty Friends series of ornaments (started the first year we got married 45 years ago!), my destination ornaments, and a few other snowmen ornaments I’ve collected over the years. Oh…and the kid’s baby ornaments!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top.
- The tree from Snowy Wonder stamp set was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Peach Pie twice, Summer Splash twice, Petunia Pop twice, and Pretty in Pink three times. They were cut with the tree Snowy Wonder Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting in Snowy Wonder stamp set was stamped with Summer Splash Ink on Basic White and hand-cut around the letters, then added to the center tree with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of clear Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments give the sparkle it needs to really shine!
