This week’s Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is a new In Color combination…Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide! I think these are my top 2 favorites of the In Colors with Orchid Oasis not too far behind!
BEST BUTTERFLIES
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Parakeet Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Into The Clouds Embossing Folder…it is a very subtle look!
- A 2-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of floral Tahitian Tide In Color DSP was added to the right side with a 2 x 4 piece of Parakeet Party plaid In Color DSP on top.
- The 3/4 x 4 strip of Parakeet Party cardstock was stamped with the Best Butterflies greeting in Memento Black Ink, then adhered across the front.
- The larger butterfly wings were stamped with Parakeet Party Ink and the smaller ones with Tahitian Tide Ink, the body with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Build A Butterfly Dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Tahitian Tide Matte In Color Dots were added to the background.
