It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Summer Fun Time!” Finally feels like summer is finally here to stay a while!
SPLASH & RELAX
I actually have had this card sitting on my desk for a while. I had gone in a different direction with a previous challenge and didn’t use this card! So, this week was pretty easy on me!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Gorgeous Grape cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Golden Glow cardstock was added on top.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Highland Heather cardstock was randomly stamped with the innertube swirls in Gorgeous Grape Ink across the background.
- A 3/4 x 5 strip of Golden Glow cardstockc was added across the front towards the bottom.
- Four 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 pieces of Scenic Coast DSP were added to the front, flat.
- The Sunglasses were cut with the Dies from Gorgeous Grape and Basic Black cardstock, adhered together, and the lenses highlighted with the White Gel Pen
- The hat pieces were cut with the Dies from Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather cardstocks and adhered together.
- The suntan lotion bottle was cut with the Dies from Highland Heather and Basic White for the lid and adhered together.
- They were all added to the DSP squares with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A banner was cut with the Three Banner Punch from Gorgeous Grape and adhered to the last DSP square.
- The greeting was stamped with Gorgeous Grape on Basic White cardstock and cut with the circle beachball Die, then added to the banner with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- A trio of orange Sunset Sparkle Sequins were added to the hat and background.
