Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week’s theme is “Stretch it Out”. We will be making slimline or extended size cards! My son’s birthday was last week so I made this card for him!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 7 x 8-1/2 Thick Very Vanilla, scored at 3-1/2, then folded to form the card to size 3-1/2 x 8-1/2.
A 2-1/2 x 8-1/4 piece of Let’s Go Fishing plaid DSP was added to a 2-3/4 x 8-1/2 piece of Early Espresso cardstock, then adhered to the front.
A 1/4 x 5 piece of Early Espresso was cut at an angle, then added to the DSP.
Three beer glasses were stamped with Early Espresso Ink and Crushed Curry Ink on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Brewed Dies. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock, then cut with the label from Stylish Shapes and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The hops image was cut with the dies from Early Espresso c/s and the leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock and tucked under the greeting.
Three Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.
A little Wink of Stella on the glasses finish it off!

I know my son will appreciate this card! It’s right in his wheelhouse! They like going to the local breweries and trying their beers and ales! I love the Brewed For You set for men with the beer mugs and such, but thought I’d make one for the ladies! We have a group of friends that we’ve know since our kids were in preschool and 30 years later, we still get together for hors d’oeuvres and drinks at least once every couple months. Now we all have grandkids to talk about, although our health issues are cropping into our conversations more and more! lol!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Sweet Sorbet cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Smoky Slate was added on top.
Next a 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Regals Cherry Cobbler plaid DSP was added to the front.
A 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock was embossed with the Splatters Embossing folder and added to the front.
A 1 x 3-3/4 strip of polka dot Cherry Cobbler Regals DSP was added over it.
The greeting from Brewed for You was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2-3/4 piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock and the ends cut at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two wine glasses were stamped with Smoky Slate Ink on Basic White cardstock and the wine with Cherry Cobbler Ink. They were cut with the Brewed Dies.
Around the edges of the glass, Light Pool Party Blends was added.
The second from largest Stylish Shapes circle was cut from Basic White and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The wine glasses were added with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A couple Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the wine.

I thought my ruby red wine worked well for today’s theme, don’t you? I also love the combo of Cherry Cobber and Sweet Sorbet colors!
