CCM Saturday Blog Hop – For the Ladies

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week’s hop is “For the Ladies”…we are designing cards especially created for the women in our life!

EARTHEN TEXTURES

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bubble Bath cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 2-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper was added down the center.
A 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 square of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the Earthen Textures greeting in Berry Burst Ink and added to the front.
Three of the branches from Earthen Textures Dies were cut from Bubble Bath, Berry Burst and Garden Green cardstock. The centers were colored with a sponge dauber using the same color. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three large Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the branches.
Linen Thread was tied around the stems and tied in a bow.

IM290 – Earthen Textures

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. We have a trio of stoneware pots! Love the designs on these.

EARTHEN TEXTURES

I pulled and my Earthen Textures to make a trio of pots for my card and did a little Blending Brush ink color on the front of this card to give some movement in the background.

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Copper Clay cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Very Vanilla was colored in the background with Copper Clay Ink using the Blender Brush.
- A 1 x 4-1/2 piece of Earthen Elegance was added to the bottom.
- The medium pot was stamped with Copper Clay Ink on Very Vanilla and hand-cut so I could get a border around the edge.
- The large pot, small pot and top were all cut with the smaller and larger pot and handle dies from Earthen Textures DSP.
- Some Natural Wavy Trim was wrapped around the larger pot three times and adhered in the back.
- All the pots were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Earthen Textures was stamped with Copper Clay Ink on a 1 x 2-1/4 piece of Very Vanilla and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of copper Adhesive Backed Solid Gems were added to the background.

CCM Saturday Blog Hop – Red

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! For the next few weeks, we will be featuring songs that have color names in their title! This week’s song is “Red” by Taylor Swift. This week’s cards will have a shade of red theme!

EARTHEN TEXTURES

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cherry Cobbler cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock has a 1 x 4 strip of Brights 6×6 DSP across the bottom.
The vase from Earthen Textures was stamped with Cherry Cobbler Ink on Basic White cardstock, then colored with the Light Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Die.
A 1/8 x 3 strip of Basic Black was added across the top of the DSP centered.
The X detail and the fan palm leaf were cut from Basic Black cardstock, the ferns from Poppy Parade and Cherry Cobbler cardstocks with the Dies. They leaves were adhered behind the vase and curled slightly. The X detail was adhered to the front of the vase with Monoadhesive Glue. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Thank you from Earthen Textures stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 3/4 x 2-1/2 piece of Poppy Parade cardstock, the ends cut with a flag end, and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three red Festive Pearls were added to the background.

IM284 – Earthen Textures

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. Isn’t this a pretty pastel wall hanging! I love that macrame has made a comeback!

EARTHEN TEXTURES

I figured the Earthen Textures Bundle would work great with recreating the tapestry look! I love the soft colors!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bubble Bath cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped along the bottom with the large vase turned on its side and stamped with Soft Sea Foam Ink.
- The greeting was stamped with Berry Burst Ink.
- On scrap Basic White cardstock, the bushy branches were stamped with Bubble Bath and Berry Burst Inks, the vase with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. The vase was textured with the “rope” Earthen Textures Die, then all were cut with the Earthen Textures Dies.
- The fern leaf was cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.
- All were assembled in the vase and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A couple In Color Pearls were added to the vase.

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges. This week is an earthy looking wall hanging!

EARTHEN TEXTURES

I remember getting a macrame hanging for a wedding gift…43 years ago! They are back in style! I had fun making this card using the inspiration!

Stampin’ Details:

- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed with the Twisted Rope Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- The “leaf” image was cut from Boho Blue, Very Vanilla and Copper Clay cardstocks, the “wood” hanger from Crumb Cake cardstock using the Earthen Textures Dies. They were added to the front upside down (the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals).
- The greeting was stamped with Copper Clay Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Boho Blue, then end cut at an angle. It was tucked into the slit of the Very Vanilla leaf.
- A large Copper Clay In Color Dot was added to the center of the Very Vanilla leaf.
