Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Hoppy Easter”! Hard to believe it is time to start thinking of Easter, but it will be here before you know it!
This card came together pretty easy! I used this layout for one of my Valentine cards and it looks just as great as this Easter one!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Shy Shamrock cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
- A 1 x 4 strip of Easter Joy DSP was added towards the bottom.
- The grass was cut from Shy Shamrock cardstock with the Die and adhere along the top of the DSP.
- The bunny and two eggs were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock and colored with Smoky Slate, Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Dies and added to the grass with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink and hand-cut around the letters, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three colors in the In Color Flat Pearls were added to the background.
