It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.   It’s a fun sketch challenge this week.

FLIGHT & AIRY DESIGNER PAPER

Yep…I love the Flight & Airy DSP and I’m using it again!  The watercolor bird images are just SO pretty!  I’ve reserved one sheet for just cutting out images…but I know I’ll be ordering more packages as Sale-A-Bration freebies!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is added on front.
  • Three 1 x 3-1/2 strips of Flight & Airy DSP were added to the background.
  • A 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock was colored with Boho Blue Ink in the center and along the edges using a Blending Brush and added to the front.
  • The bird, branch and flowers were cut from the Flight & Airy DSP and added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting from Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Boho Blue cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.
  • Some Wink of Stella was added to the flowers and the back of the bird for some shimmery goodness!

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.   We have a fun sketch for you to try this week!

FLIGHT & AIRY DESIGNER PAPER

I think the Flight & Airy DSP is so pretty with the watercolor images of birds, flowers and branches so I let it do ALL the heavy lifting on this card!  Only the greeting is stamped!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Boho Blue cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 strip of Flight & Airy Pecan Pie grid DSP is added across the front towards the top.
  • Next a 2-3/4 x 4 small bird print in Flight & Airy DSP was added to a 2-3/4 x 4 piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock on an angle, then added to the front.
  • The 3/4 x 3-1/4 Fresh Freesia watercolor print in Flight & Airy DSP was added over it.
  • One of the small birds on a branch and flowers was cut from the DSP and added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Linen Thread was wrapped several times in a loop, then added to the tail of the bird.
  • The greeting from Perennial Postage Stamp Set was stamped with Boho Blue Ink on a 1/2 x 2-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock and added on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Three Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.
