Flower Fair Scrappin Kit

The Flower Fair Scrappin' Kit is SO cute and I love making cards with it!  I've made up several.  The floral backgrounds are so bright and cheery…nice for this snowy and dreary day in Ohio!

It came together nice and quick this morning, too!  I have finally got my studio 90% put away…just need to alphabetize my stamp sets and put away the ribbon and cardstock/DSP I took with me!  But at least I can FIND things again!

Here's what I did with this card!

1. The base is Whisper White cut 4 1/4 x 11 and folded in half.
2. I used 4 x 5 1/4 Garden Green, embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.
3. I added a 2" strip of Floral Paper from the Scrappin' Kit, then a 1" strip of the reverse side on top.  I used one of the borders for another layer on top.  All were cut at the bottom with a flag end. 
4. I wrapped the 1/8" ribbon around the banners and tied a knot on the front.
5. The greeting from Friendly Phrases was stamped in Garden Green on Whisper White, then punched with the Decorative Label punch.
6. I added two of the flowers from the Kit, and two buttons from the Kit, tied with White Bakers Twine.

So everything except for the base Whisper White card and the White Bakers Twine is included!!!  Makes it quite easy to whip up a card in a short time!

The Simply Scrappin' Kits that Stampin' Up! comes up with are always fabulous!  The Spring Mini Flower Fair Kit has bunches of flowers…my favorite!  And I absolutely LOVE the designer papers in this one!  I'll probably use those up before the Adhesive Die Cuts!  It's a handy 8×8 size, too!  Since I opened the Kit to make the favor last week for my Create with Connie and Mary challenge, I decided to make up a card at the same time.  Actually, I had made the card for our Thursday challenge, then realized I used the wrong colors!  Oops! 

This just makes me think that SPRING may actually get here!  lol!  Of course, that is wishful thinking since we did get a dusting of snow this weekend.  Here are the details:

1. Cut 4 1/4 x 11 Whisper White and fold in half.  Emboss the front with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder.
2. Cut a 3 x 3 1/2 piece of the floral designer paper from the Flower Fair Kit, round the two right corners with the Corner Rounder.
3. Tie a piece of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon around and knot on the front.
4. Punch a 2 1/2" Circle from the green stripe designer paper, add to the lower right corner of the designer paper piece.
5. Punch a 1 3/8" Circle from Pink Pirouette cardstock.  Layer on the bottom left corner of the larger circle.
6. Add large adhesive die cut leaves from the Kit on front.
7. Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the Kit flowers and place on the front as shown.
8. Add Large Rhinestone jewels to the centers of the flowers (or use the bottoms in your Kit!)
9. Stamp Happy Birthday from Itty Bitty Banners with Garden Green Ink and cut with Bitty Banner framelits.
10. Place on the bottom portion of the circle.

Isn't that pretty?  And SO FAST to make!  I'm taking this Flower Fair Kit with me to the stamping retreat at the end of the month so I can make up a bunch more cards with it!  In addition to the Designer Paper and Adhesive Die Cuts, you get buttons and ribbon!
