It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop. This week our theme is “Valentine Flip”. We’ll be using a traditionally non-Valentine set and making it into a Valentine! I’m excited to see what our Design Team does with this challenge!

ROCK STAR

I purchased this bundle for my grandsons…the oldest one just had his birthday party at a recording studio! It was pretty cool…they taught them the melody on some instruments, then they got to sing and make a “demo” tape! I wanted to use pinks and reds on today’s card so I could use this DSP, but I’ll probably recreate it in black and red for his Valentine card this year.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of Most Adored Designer Paper (SAB) was added diagonally across the front.
The guitar from Rock Star stamp set was stamped with Poppy Parade Ink on Basic White and cut with the Rock Star Die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Be My Valentine from Throughout the Year Stamp Set was stamped with Poppy Parade Ink on 3/4 x 3 piece of Basic White and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some hearts were cut for the background from Poppy Parade c/s with the Sending Love Dies and one cut from Flirty Flamingo c/s and added to the guitar.

Happy Tuesday! I recently participated in a SAB swap and this was my swap card! I wanted to use Epic Celebrations and the new Tailored Tag Punch and True Gentlemen Designer Paper! I really liked how this turned out!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Tranquil Tide cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake, a 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of True Gentlemen Designer Paper was placed along the left edge.
A 1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Night of Navy cardstock was added over the DSP.
The guitar from Epic Celebrations was stamped with Night of Navy Ink in the lower right corner.
The greeting from Epic Celebrations was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then punched with the Tailored Tag Punch and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Another Tailored Tag was punched from Night of Navy cardstock and added to the front.
Finally, a blue Glitter Dot was added to the Whisper White tag for a little bling.

Isn’t that fun? I love that new tag and the greetings that they have designed to go in it!
