It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a pretty color combination. It reminded me of flowers, so I went in that direction!
IMPRESSIONS ABLOOM
Earlier, I used this set to create a card with the Impressions Abloom Dies. This one uses the stamps and outline/texture dies for a totally different look!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Peach Pie cardstock was added on top.
- Down the center is the 3-1/2 x 5-1/4 Pecan Pie texture pattern piece of Floral Delight Designer Paper.
- The large flower from Impressions Abloom stamp set was stamped off on Basic White cardstock with Peach Pie Ink five times and then full strength five times on top. The centers were stamped with Pecan Pie Ink. Each was cut with the outline and detail dies. TIP: Use Washi Tape to hold them both together and cut at the same time. They were added to the front of the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The leaves were stamped off six times on Basic White cardstock with Old Olive Ink and full strength five times on top. They were cut with the Dies and tucked around the flowers with Mini Glue Dots.
- The greeting from Impressions Abloom was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on 3/4 x 3-1/2 Peach Pie cardstock and the ends cut at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of peach Adhesive Backed Dappled Dots were added to the background.
