CSF830 – Market Goodness

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge.  It’s a pretty color challenge this week!

MARKET GOODNESS

I grabbed the To Market Designer Paper because I knew it had these colors in it.  First thing that caught my eye was this bouquet of flowers with Blackberry Bliss flowers and Garden Green stems!  Perfect!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Blackberry Bliss cardstock scored at 5-1/2.
  • A 2 x 4 piece of Blackberry Bliss plaid To Market Designer Paper was added to a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock.
  • The row of Xs was stamped twice above and twice below the DSP with Pecan Pie Ink.
  • Garden Green cardstock was cut with the Spotlight on Nature circle, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The flower bouquet was hand-cut from the DSP and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Thanks a Bunch greeting was stamped with Garden Green Ink on Basic White and hand-cut around the letters, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Linen Thread was tied in a small bow and added to the bouquet stems.
  • Three Transparent Dots were added to the background and the circle.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge.  This month is our annual “Case the Catalog”!  We use samples from the catalog to inspire the cards we make!  Always fun to see if our design team uses the colors, the layout, the stamp set…or whatever element inspires them.

MARKET GOODNESS

This is a fun set that I think is being overlooked in the new annual catalog as I haven’t seen a lot done with it!  I love the punny greetings in it!  This card came together really easily…I had a lot of the veggie pieces already stamped and cut!  Gotta love that!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pecan Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • To Market Designer Paper was cut to 3-1/2 x 4-1/2 and sponged along the edges with Blackberry Bliss Ink to make the layer have a shadow and stand out a little.  It was stamped with the row of X’s in Pecan Pie Ink in the upper right and lower left corners.  It was added to the base card.
  • A 3/4 x 5 strip of green plaid To Market Designer Paper was added across the front.
  • The Perennial Postage rectangle was cut from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Thanks a bunch was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink on 1 x 2-1/4 Garden Green cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The lettuce was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist Ink and detail with Garden Green Ink.  The carrots were stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink and the top with Garden Green Ink.  The tomatoes were stamped with Garden Green Ink for the stems and Real Red for the tomatoes.  The onion was stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink and the top with Garden Green Ink.  All were cut with the Market Goodness Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Blackberry Bliss Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards.  This month the theme is “Foodie”.

MARKET GOODNESS

Stampin’ Up! has lots of stamps with food images.  For my first card this month, I went with the Market Goodness Bundle.  I love this bunch of tomatoes!  And it is always fun to see all the different colors of tomatoes you can grow now!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Garden Green cardstock was added on top.
  • The 1-3/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Full of Life Designer Paper was added to the right side.
  • Three tag shapes were cut with the Unbounded Love Dies from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the tomato images in Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green Inks.  They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Thanks a bunch was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 1 x 2 piece of Garden Green and the end cut as a flag.
  • Some Black & Vanilla Large Check Ribbon was added to the back of the greeting, then to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The yellow Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins were added to the tags.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop – In The Garden

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week our theme is “In the Garden”.  SOOO many different ways to interpret this theme…flowers, plants, bugs, or vegetables!  What will our Design Team choose to use?

MARKET GOODNESS

This is the first time my Market Goodness Bundle is seeing any ink!  When my kids were younger, we had a small vegetable garden in the back yard that did really well…mostly tomato plants, but a few cucumber plants and a bell pepper plant or two.  We always had fun running out to the garden to pick fresh produce!  This set reminds me of those times!  I just picked up a patio tomato plant this year…it has a few small tomatoes on it, so hoping it does well at this house!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Soft Sea Foam cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 has a piece of vegetable To Market Designer Paper (measure 4 x 5 and cut in half diagonally) added to the front.  A 1/2 x 8 strip of green check To Market DSP was added across the seam and the ends trimmed, then added to the front.
  • The Countryside Corners shape was cut from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • On scrap Basic White cardstock, two lettuce heads were stamped with Soft Sea Foam and Garden Green Inks; two beets with Real Red and Old Olive Inks; a carrot bunch with Soft Sea Foam and Pumpkin Pie Inks; and the tomato cluster with Garden Green and Real Red Inks.  They were cut with the Market Goodness Dies and added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Hello from Market Goodness was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 1-1/2 Garden Green cardstock and added to the label under the veggies.
  • A trio of light and dark green Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added in the background.
