It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s theme is “Back to School”!
JUST PEACHY
I knew I wanted to use the apple in Just Peachy for my card today…but this took off in a different direction! I love the pencil!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Golden Glow cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Beige cardstock was added on top.
- A 3 x 5-1/4 piece of Moonlit Flora DSP was added towards the right side.
- The pencil is a 3 x 5 piece of Crumb Cake that was cut to a point on one end.
- A 3/4-inch square of Basic Black was cut in half diagonally and added for the pencil tip.
- A 3/4 x 3 piece of Bubble Bath cardstock was added to the Crumb Cake for the eraser.
- A 2-3/4 x 3 piece of Golden Glow cardstock was torn on the right side, then added to the front of the pencil just where the point ends.
- A 1/2 x 3 strip of Smoky Slate cardstock was added between the Bubble Bath and pencil for the metal piece.
- ABC was cut from Basic Black cardstock using the Mini Alphabet Die and adhered.
- Just a Note greeting from Just Peachy was stamped with Basic Black Ink.
- The apple from Just Peachy was stamped with Real Red Ink and the spots with Cherry Cobbler ink on the left side.
- The leaf was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink. Both were hand-cut and added at the bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the top of the apple.
