SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS
One of the reasons I purchase this Seasonal Celebrations set was for the variety of simple holiday icons…like this shamrock for St. Patrick’s Day! I only wished they would have put some small greetings for each of the holidays in there, too! I don’t have any here that say “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!”
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
- I used the Three Banner Punch and punched three banners from Garden Green cardstock, then cut them in half so I could “extend” them under the arch. They were adhered to the front.
- The Everyday Arches was cut from Basic White using the Die and the greeting from Banner Sayings stamped with Garden Green at the bottom. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the cut banners.
- The shamrock was stamped with Garden Green Ink on Basic White and hand-cut, then added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the shamrock stem.
- A trio of Dear Dots were added to the background.
Nice and easy way to copy Cindy’s card…think I’ll do a few of these for my St. Patrick’s Day cards to mail out!
