It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a pretty color challenge for you!

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

The flowers in this set are so pretty and open so you can use any color!  The flowers on this card remind me of the African Violets my grandmother used to grow.  I still have one of hers that just blooms its’ head off several times a year…it likes the sun in my sunroom!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Highland Heather cardstock was added on top.
  • The 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Nature’s Walk DSP was added on top.
  • The Everyday Arches was cut with the Die from Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped with the Simply Beautiful greeting across the top.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Three of the flowers and two sets of leaves were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with Cloud Cover and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.  They were cut with the Dies and added to the arch with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The Three Banner Punch was punched from Highland Heather cardstock and cut in half, then tucked under the arch on the right side.
  • A trio of large Vintage Pearls were added to the centers of the flowers.

Saturday Blog Hop – Casing Libby Fens 2026

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. For the next several weeks we will be “Casing the Designer”. Each week we have picked a designer and will select a card she designed. We will use the Colors or Layout of her design and recreate our version using NEW stamps/bundles or DSP!  For our first “Case the Designer” week we are “Casing Libby Fens”!

Here’s the card I selected from her posts.

SIMPLY BEAUITFUL

I love the color combination on Libby’s card!  She used stamped flower images on hers, while I used the dies from the Simply Beautiful Dies to create my flowers.

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Summer Splash cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 layer of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock was placed off center towards the right side.
  • The 3 x 4-1/4 panel of Basic White was cut about two-thirds and adhered to the front towards the right side again.
  • The leaves were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and cut with the Die.
  • Two of the flowers were cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock and one from Summer Splash cardstock.  The stamens were cut in the opposite colors and adhered all together.  They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves tucked under them.
  • The greeting was omit stamped with Summer Splash Ink by inking only the “thinking” first, then inking only “of you” separately and below the other on a 1 x 2 piece of Basic White cardstock.  The end was cut into a banner.
  • A trio of pink Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background and a large white Pearlized Faceted Circle to the center of each flower.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a pretty color combination this week!

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

These large flowers in Simply Beautiful Bundle make it so easy to create pretty cards!  I used this color combo in a non-traditional way…no green on here that I’d usually use for the leaves!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Lovely & Beautiful Designer Paper was added on top.
  • The large flower was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Peach Pie cardstock and brushed with Peach Pie Ink in the center.  It was cut with the Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two single leaves were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut with the Die, then brushed with Crumb Cake Ink.  They were added next to the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two leaf branches were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Peach Pie and Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends.  They were cut with the Die and tucked beside the leaves.
  • The greeting from Simply Beautiful was stamped with Balmy Blue Ink on 3/4 x 3 Basic White cardstock and the end cut at an angle.  It was adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite New Bundle 2026

It’s Saturday and our FIRST Saturday Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop in 2026!  This week’s challenge is “Favorite New Bundle 2026”.  I always enjoy getting new products and playing!

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

You know I always get sucked into buying the newest floral sets…this one is beautiful with the big flowers and dies!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 7-1/2 cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded so the shorter end is in front.
  • A 1 x 5-1/2 strip of Lovely & Beautiful DSP is added to the bottom of the inside.
  • A 1/4 x 5-1/2 strip of Gold Metallic Paper is added to the edge on the front.
  • The large flower and two sets of the leaves are stamped with Smoky Slate Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Dies.  The center of the flower is brushed with Peach Pie Ink and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Ink.  They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting was stamped with Smoky Slate Ink in the upper left corner.
  • The flower center was cut with the Die from Gold Metallic Paper and adhered.
  • A trio of white Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the background…so sparkly!

The is a pretty basic card, but the shortened front makes it a little more dramatic with the DSP showing from the inside!  OK, next up on our blog hop is our Create with Stamping Friends website, then on to creative Debbie Henderson, or head backwards to see Melissa Davies’ fabulous project and see what everyone did with this challenge!
