So, I used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set for my center stair-step card today. I love the colors in the Cherry on Top Designer Paper, so I took my colors from it.
- The base is 5-1/2 x 11 of Watermelon Wonder cardstock. This will make a 5-1/2 square card.
- With the 5-1/2 at the top and measured at 1″, cut vertically from the 1 to 6-1/2 marks, flip over and with 5-1/2 at the top again and measure at 1″, repeat the cuts at 1 to 6-1/2″. This cuts the center panel.
- With the 11 at the top of your cutter, score at the 1, 2 and 6-1/2″ from the edge to the first cut line. Flip and repeat on the other side.
- Score between the center cut lines at the 5-1/2 mark.
- CAREFULLY fold your score lines so it looks like my second photo. (You do not want those skinny side panels to fold in the wrong place!)
- The Cherry on Top DSP pieces were cut 1 x 4-1/2 on the sides and 1 x 5-1/2 on the bottom.
- The center 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 Whisper White panel was embossed with Elegant Dots folder and adhered to center panel.
- The cone was stamped with Tip Top Taupe Ink on Tip Top Taupe cardstock and cut out. The ice cream scoops were stamped with Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party, Cucumber Crush and Hello Honey on coordinating cardstock, then punched with the Tree Builder Punch. They are stacked on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals and a rhinestone on the top Watermelon Wonder scoop.
- Pool Party 1/4 Ribbon was wrapped around and tied in front.
- “Hope Your Day…” was stamped with Tip Top Taupe on Hello Honey and punched with the 1-1/2″ Circle Punch and placed on front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
