SUNNY SPLASH
I always enjoy using regular sets to create patriotic cards…and this one was LOTS of fun to design! So glad they had polka dot and striped bathing suits…worked out great!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Starry Sky cardstock was embossed with the Cascading Ruffles Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- A 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Sweet Sorbet In Color striped DSP was added down the center.
- A 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 piece of White Glitter Paper was placed in the center.
- The polka dot swimsuit was stamped with Starry Sky Ink and the stripe swimsuit with Sweet Sorbet Ink on Basic White cardstock, then hand-cut and added to the Glimmer Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Celebrate from Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set was inked with the Starry Sky Marker, then stamped on a 1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock and the end cut at an angle. It was also popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three of the stars were punched with the Starlit Punch from White Glimmer Paper and added to the background with Mini Glue Dots.
