Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme. This month the theme is Sale-A-Bration! We will design our cards using this theme!

THANKS A BUNCH

This is a super simple card using the Thanks a Bunch SAB stamp set and Dandy Designs SAB Designer Paper! A double SAB card for our creatively simple challenge this week! I stamped and cut out the carrots by hand, but you could make this even easier by just stamping directly on the background!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added on top of the base card.
Two 3/4 x 5-1/4 pieces of Dandy Designs DSP was added to the top and bottom of the Basic White c/s.
Five carrots were stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink and tops with Granny Apple Green Ink on Basic White, then hand-cut and added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Thanks a Bunch was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Granny Apple Green cardstock, then cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the background.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. This week is a fun sketch challenge!

THANKS A BUNCH

I just LOVE these carrots! I usually don’t gravitate towards this style of stamp images, but this SAB set really appeals to me! I thought it would be perfect for this sketch!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Mango Melody cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 3-1/4 x 4-1/2 piece of Dandy Designs DSP (SAB) was added to the front.
The 1 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock was stamped with Thanks a bunch in Mango Melody Ink and adhered to the front.
A 1/8 x 3-1/2 strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock was added towards the left side.
Three large carrots were stamped with the solid image in Mango Melody and the detail with Pumpkin Pie Ink on Basic White cardstock. The leaves were stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink and the fern leaves with Granny Apple Green Ink. All were hand-cut and added to the front.
A trio of Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins were added to the background for a little bling.

CCM Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite SAB Stamp Set

Welcome back to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! We have a BRAND NEW January-April Mini Catalog AND it’s Sale-A-Bration time! This week our designers are showing off their favorite SAB stamp set! I’m willing to bet that a lot of them chose the Adorable Owls stamp set as their favorite. But I loved the Thanks A Bunch stamp set from the minute I saw it! So…that is the one I chose as my favorite (today anyway!)

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Parakeet Party cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Calypso Coral cardstock was embossed with the Cane Weave Embossing folder.
A 1-1/2 x 4-1/2 piece of Dandy Designs DSP was added across the front.
The smaller carrot in Thanks a Bunch was stamped with Mango Melody Ink on Basic White and the stems and tops with Parakeet Party Ink. It was cut with the Something Fancy tag die.
Thanks a bunch was stamped on a 1/2 x 3 piece of Mango Melody cardstock with Memento Black Ink.
A 1/4 x 2-1/2 piece of Parakeet Party cardstock was added behind it, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Parakeet Party In Color Matte Dots were added to the label and background.
