Hello! It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a fun color combination for you this week!
FLOWERING TULIPS
To me, these represent more fall colors, so I challenged myself to use the Flowering Tulips for spring! I actually do love yellowy toned tulips, so it worked out!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mango Melody cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- Two 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 strips of Flowering Fields Designer Paper was added to the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White, then embossed with the Tasteful Textile EF.
- The stem and leaves were cut from Evening Evergreen cardstock with the Tulips Dies and added on front.
- The tulip top was cut from Pumpkin Pie and Mango Melody cardstocks and assembled, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting was stamped with Evening Evergreen Ink on Basic White cardstock and punched with the Double Oval Punch, then added over the stems with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Simply Elegant Gold Twine was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
- A trio of Champagne Rhinestones were added to the background.
Doesn’t this tulip look almost real? I love those Tulip Dies! OK, go check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with this sketch challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary!
