Hello! It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. We have a fun color combination for you this week!

FLOWERING TULIPS

To me, these represent more fall colors, so I challenged myself to use the Flowering Tulips for spring! I actually do love yellowy toned tulips, so it worked out!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mango Melody cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Two 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 strips of Flowering Fields Designer Paper was added to the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White, then embossed with the Tasteful Textile EF.
The stem and leaves were cut from Evening Evergreen cardstock with the Tulips Dies and added on front.
The tulip top was cut from Pumpkin Pie and Mango Melody cardstocks and assembled, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Evening Evergreen Ink on Basic White cardstock and punched with the Double Oval Punch, then added over the stems with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some Simply Elegant Gold Twine was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
A trio of Champagne Rhinestones were added to the background.

This time over on SUO Challenges our theme is Easter! Since I totally LOVE the Blessed Easter stamp set, I wanted to use it one more time (at least) before Easter gets here!

Here are the details:

The base is 4 1/4 x 11 Strawberry Slush cardstock.
I added a 1 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper in the green chevron pattern along the left side.
On top of that I cut a 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 piece of Whisper White and corner rounded two of the corners.
I stamped the Blessed Easter image with Black Stazon ink on the Whisper White, then watercolored with my AquaPainter and Strawberry Slush and Gumball Green Markers.
I used the Oval templates and piercing tool to make a pierced oval around the image.
Next I added a little of the Strawberry Slush Ruffled Ribbon along the left edge.
Finally, I thought a punched Bermuda Bay Bitty Butterfly with some rhinestones would be a pretty touch! I love how the color POPS against the Strawberry Slush color!
