CCMC554 – Beauty Abounds

Another Thursday has rolled around…where does time go! It’s time for the Create with Connie and Mary Challenge…a fun sketch this week!

BEAUTY ABOUNDS

I just thought the circles reminded me of butterflies for some reason, so I used some left-over butterflies from my Stamp Club cards to create this card.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Whisper White, scored at 5-1/2 and folded with the fold on the left.
On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Gingham DSP (Lemon Lime Twist).
The 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Whisper White cardstock was stamped in the corners with the Bokeh Circles and Speckles stamp images from Beauty Abounds with Balmy Blue Ink.
The greeting from Beauty Abounds was stamped with Memento Black Ink towards the right side.
The Whisper White panel was added to a 2-5/8 x 4-3/8 piece of Basic Black cardstock and added to the front.
The butterflies were cut from Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White, and Highland Heather with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlit Dies. Then the butterflies were cut apart, adhered together, and added in the corners with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Rhinestone Jewels were added to the bodies and the background.

IM54 – Beauty Abounds

It’s Monday and time for another Inspiration Monday on Create with Connie and Mary! Mary is making me hungry for sweets with all these cake and cookies inspiration pieces she selected! Today it is a bright and cheerful cake!

I decided to be quite literal when interpreting this cake! Here’s what I came up with! TIP: You also have pieces for two more cards just by using the shapes again with the other colors, putting them together like a puzzle!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
I cut three pieces to 4×4 in Flirty Flamingo, Grapefruit Grove and Daffodil Delight cardstock. Placing them all together, I cut into three diagonal pieces. I used one of each of the colors and shapes to add to the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White.
The entire layer was run thru the Big Shot with the Subtles Embossing Folder.
I used the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack and the same colors, plus Call Me Clover, to punch out the flowers and leaves.
I used the Spring Punch for the vines.
A 1″ Circle punch was used for the four Grapefruit Grove circles.
I added different sized Rhinestones in the centers of the flowers and curled them slightly so they are raised off the card.
I stamped Hello from Beauty Abounds stamp set with Memento Black Ink in one of the circles.

IM52 – Beauty Abounds

HAPPY NEW YEAR (almost!) This sure has been a BUSY year…and can’t believe it is over and 2019 will be here shortly! And, it’s Monday and time for another Inspiration Monday on Create with Connie and Mary!

I love the wintery blue colors on our inspiration picture, so that’s what I focused on for my card. And I used a new Occasions Catalog stamp set, Beauty Abounds that I won at OnStage in November!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Balmy Blue cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
On the 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Whisper White, the larger bokeh dots from Beauty Abounds Stamp Set were stamped with Balmy Blue Ink and the smaller bokeh dots and splatter with Crumb Cake Ink, randomly going down and across the right side.
A piece of Balmy Blue Organdy Ribbon (SAB Selection!) is wrapped around the Whisper White and tied in a knot. Love how easy that ribbon is to tie!
The greeting from Beauty Abounds was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White, cut with the Layering Circles Framelits and layered on a Balmy Blue Scallop Circle Framelit. It is popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The butterfly in Beauty Abounds was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Whisper White, hand cut, then added to the circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
A little Wink of Stella on top gives it a little sparkle!
