It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a holiday color combination this week!

FESTIVE FRIENDS

I’m obsessed with this little snowman. I used him on my own Christmas cards this year and still have my tags to make using him! So, here’s one more idea using him with these colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cherry Cobbler cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded to form the base card.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Old Olive cardstock was added on top.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Pool Party was stamped and stamped off with the tree along the width of the background.
A 2 x 5 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top. It was stamped with the greeting in Cherry Cobbler Ink and added to the bottom of the Pool Party. Then it was added to the Old Olive layer on front.
The tree was cut from Old Olive cardstock using the Die and adhere using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The snowman was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black Ink and colored with Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party Stampin’ Blends with a little Pumpkin Pie for his nose. He was cut with the Festive Friends Die and added next to the tree with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three sets of snowflakes from the Festive Friends Dies were cut from Basic White cardstock and adhere with Monoadhesive Glue to the background randomly.
A trio of blue Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the snowbank.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a wonderful photo of Santa and his reindeer on a sleigh with gifts!

I really wanted a more realistic looking Santa for this challenge but sadly I didn’t have any current ones. Festive Friends to the rescue!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1//4 x 11 Real Red cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder (the focal point in the upper left corner).
A 2 x 4 piece of Christmas Tags & More Designer Paper was added across the front with a 1/4 x 4 strip of Real Red cardstock on the top towards the bottom.
The large 2-7/8″ Circle was cut from Pool Party cardstock and added inside the Dotted Circles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Santa was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Real Red, Basic Black, Ivory and Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Festive Friends Die and added to the circle towards the left side.
Three of the die-cut packages from the Christmas Tags & More DSP were added next to Santa on the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting from Festive Friends Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals slightly under the larger circle.
A trio of red Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added in the background.

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a darling little elf! I don’t remember having an elf stamp lately, so this has been fun!

FESTIVE FRIENDS

You already know I love the snowman (just finished my Christmas cards using him!), but the Santa and Elf and super cute, too!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Real Red cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Old Olive cardstock was added on top.
Two 3/4 x 5-1/4 strips of Traditions of Christmas Designer Paper were added to each side.
The tag was cut from Basic White cardstock and colored with Light Crumb Cake across the bottom for the “ground” and stamped the greeting across the top with Memento Black Ink.
The elf was stamped on scrap Basic White cardstock and colored with Old Olive, Real Red, Ivory & Bronze Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the Dies and add to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then to the front with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut two 1 x 1 pieces of Traditions of Christmas DSP from the plaid paper.
Cut two Starbursts from Real Red cardstock, add to the top of the packages with Monoadhesive glue, then add next to the elf with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add two small Real Red & White Peppermints to the center of the bows.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a pretty pastel color challenge to try this week!

FESTIVE FRIENDS

Yep…I’m back with my Festive Friends again! Can’t stop playing with them! This one is so pretty in the soft colors!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Fresh Freesia cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Florals in Bloom DSP was added on top (love this Cloud Cover stripe!)
A 1-3/4 x 4 piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock was added across the center with a 1/4 x 4 strip of Fresh Freesia cardstock on top towards the bottom.
The tag from Festive Friends Dies was cut from Cloud Cover cardstock and stamped with the snowflake in Cloud Cover Ink across the front.
A 1 x 3 strip of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and cut with the bottom of the tag die. It was adhere to the bottom of the Cloud Cover tag for the snowbank. The tag was added to the front on a diagonal with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The snowman was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia, Cloud Cover and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the Die and added to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Fresh Freesia cardstock and cut with the tag die.
The greeting tag was attached to the larger tag with Fresh Freesia Velvet Ribbon tied in a bow.
A snowflake was cut with the die from Basic White cardstock and added to the bottom of the tag.
Three clear Faceted Snowflakes were added to the snowflake and the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Favorite Sept Online Exclusive

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week’s challenge is showing our Favorite Sept Online Exclusive product!

I just had to get this Festive Friends bundle…it has a snowman…but all three of the characters are cute!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 2 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White was torn across the top and added to the bottom of the 4 x 5-1/4 Cloud Cover cardstock, then adhered to the front.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the lower left side.
The three characters were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and colored with Dark Shaded Spruce/Dark Old Olive (for the Garden Green color), Real Red Combo, Dark Daffodil Delight, Ivory/Bronze, Light Basic Black, Light Gray Granite, Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends.
They were cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Light Pool Party was used to shade the snowman and the ground under them.
Two trees were cut from Garden Green cardstock and added to the left side.
Some snowflakes were cut with the dies from Basic White cardstock and added to the background sky.
A trio of Rhinestone Jewels were also added to the background.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a fun sketch challenge to try this week!

I think these Christmas icons are SO cute in this set! I’m sure I’ll be using them a bunch! I know I’ll be making tags with the grandkids this year!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Real Red cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock is embossed with the Jolly Holly Embossing Folder and added to the front.
A 1 x 5 strip of Real Red cardstock is cut at the bottom with a flag end and adhered towards the left side.
The 3 x 3-1/2 piece of Traditions of Christmas DSP is added on top.
A 2-3/8″ circle was punched from Basic White cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Santa was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black Ink and colored with Real Red, Ivory, Light Smoky Slate, Light Basic Black and Light Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the die and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink and cut with the tag die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two gold Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added in the openings on the tag and two green and one red added to the background.

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! We have a slimline card sketch challenge for you to try this week!

I couldn’t wait until I got to play with my new Festive Friends Stamp set! I love these little holiday friends! I already know I’ll be using the snowman on my Christmas present tags this year! My grandkids will enjoy helping me!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 7 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 3-1/2 and folded to make the slimline card.
A 1-1/2 x 8-1/2 piece of Traditions of Christmas DSP was added down the left side.
The three figures were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Real Red, Old Olive, Light Pool Party, Light Pecan Pie, Ivory, Dark Pumpkin Pie, and Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. They were cut out with the Festive Friends Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped on Old Olive cardstock and cut with the label Festive Friends Die. It was added to a 7/8 x 2-1/2 piece of Real Red cardstock, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some red and green Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the background and small gold ones to the label.
